Our Services
CT
Computed tomography, more commonly known as a CT or CAT scan, is a diagnostic medical test that, like traditional x-rays, produces multiple images or pictures of the inside of the body.
Ultrasound
Ultrasound is safe and painless, and produces pictures of the inside of the body using sound waves. Ultrasound imaging, also called ultrasound scanning or sonography, involves the use of a small transducer (probe) and ultrasound gel placed directly on the skin
Screening & X-rays
X-rays are forms of radiant energy, like light or radio waves. Unlike light, x-rays can penetrate the body, which allows a radiologist to produce pictures of internal structures. The radiologist can view these on photographic film or on a TV or computer monitor.
Bone Densitometry
Bone density scanning, also called dual-energy x-ray absorptiometry (DXA) or bone densitometry, is an enhanced form of x-ray technology that is used to measure bone loss. DXA is today’s established standard for measuring bone mineral density (BMD).
Mammography
Mammography is a specific type of imaging that uses a low-dose x-ray system to examine breasts.

X-ray safety
radiologists and x-ray technologists are trained to use the
minimum amount of radiation necessary to achieve accurate
results. Properly conducted imaging has minimal risks and is
performed only when clinically necessary.
and the benefits far outweigh any potential risks. X-rays are
produced only when the equipment is activated, and no
radiation remains once the equipment is turned off.
